According to local tax regulations, Peruvian nationals (as well as foreigners who remain in Peru for over 59 days) are obligated to pay an additional charge of 18%. To qualify for exemption from this 18% surcharge (IGV), guests must provide a copy of their immigration card and passport.
It’s important to note that both documents are necessary for the fee exemption. Guests unable to present both items will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travelers needing a printed invoice will also incur the additional 18% charge, regardless of their duration of stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically included in the total costs for the reservation.
