The Nyepi Laut celebration will take place on October 18, 2024. Nyepi Laut is a day of silence on the ocean, observed annually in the waters surrounding Nusa Lembongan.

This day is dedicated to prayer, meditation, and honoring the ocean, which entails complete stillness on the waters. No boats or water activities are permitted.

Complying with the Nyepi Laut regulations is a legal obligation for everyone in Nusa Lembongan, and noncompliance will result in penalties from the local authorities.

If you intend to arrive or depart the island by boat, you will need to adjust your booking accordingly.

Nyepi Day celebration on March 29, 2025. Nyepi is a day of silence recognized annually in Indonesia, primarily celebrated in Bali and the Nusa Islands; it is a time for prayer, meditation, and complete silence.

Following the Nyepi regulations is a legal must for all individuals in Bali and the Nusa Islands; failure to comply will lead to penalties from local authorities.

The Aqua Nusa Group will continue to accept bookings during this time; however, there are specific rules mandated by the authorities that our guests must adhere to.

• No check-in or check-out is allowed during the Nyepi period

• No boats will be in service traveling to or from the island

• Guests are required to remain inside their villa or room

• There will be no electricity provided on the island

• Water supply will be shut off and not functioning in your room

• Ohana’s restaurant will be closed

• Room service will not be available, and no staff will be on hand

• Some 3G services may be turned off by the Indonesian Government.

The one exception to these guidelines is for those in urgent medical need.

Check-in guests must present a photo ID and credit card. Please be aware that all Special Requests are contingent on availability and may incur additional fees.
