Upon arrival, all guests must present a credit or debit card for payment. At check-in at the County Hotel, a pre-authorisation fee of GBP 50.00 per night will be charged to your credit card to cover any additional services or damages that may occur during your stay in the room. If your room has been prepaid, you will still need to provide a chip-and-PIN card for pre-authorisation. Contactless payments, Apple Pay, or any virtual card types are not accepted for this process. For guests at the County Aparthotel, located at 83 Westgate Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1SQ, the pre-authorisation amounts are £100.00 for a one-bedroom apartment and £200.00 for a two-bedroom apartment. The release of this authorisation from either credit or debit cards may take up to 14 working days, provided that none of our hotel services have been used, and the funds will appear back in your available balance within this timeframe. This process opens a line of credit for bar, restaurant, room service, or mini-bar amenities. Please note that the breakfast rate is valid only when purchased at the time of booking; it will cost GBP 14.95 if purchased at the hotel. Different policies and additional fees will apply for reservations of 6 or more rooms. We do not accept same-sex leisure groups of more than 6 people. Hen or stag parties are not permitted. Group bookings of 10 or more rooms are not allowed. Additionally, please be aware that this property offers late check-out for an extra charge of GBP 10 per hour after 11:00, subject to availability. Onsite car parking is limited and operates on a first-come-first-served basis, with a fee of £10.00 per car per day. Please note that parking is only available for guests of the County Hotel.

A damage deposit of £50 is required upon arrival, which will be collected via credit card. This deposit will be refunded in full within 14 days of check-out, subject to a property inspection.
