Castle Lodge is perfectly situated right at the edge of Ely’s historic city center.
Guests can savor a stay in any of our 17 cozy bedrooms, which vary from single and double rooms with shared bathrooms located on the second floor—some of which feature limited headroom—to doubles, twins, and family suites equipped with private bathrooms, including an elegant four-poster bed! Access to rooms on the first and second floors is available solely via stairs.
Every room is furnished with a TV and has tea and coffee-making facilities. While we do not offer air conditioning due to parts of the hotel being from the 1800s, we do provide fans in all rooms for added comfort, along with complimentary WiFi.
Additionally, we serve a full English breakfast in our dining area.
Please keep in mind that we do not have a reception area; self-check-in facilities are available, and key codes will be sent to you before your arrival since we do not have staff on-site. Our guests can take advantage of free parking, which includes on-site electric charging stations exclusively for their use. Our aim is to provide affordable lodging for visitors to Ely and its surrounding areas. Unfortunately, we do not offer a secure location for storing left luggage. The hotel is just a 25-minute walk from Ely Rail Station.
