– RESERVATION CANCELLATION Policy

· Cancellations or modifications made 14 days or more prior to the check-in date will allow for rescheduling within six (6) months from the cancellation date.

· Cancellations or modifications made between 3 – 14 days before check-in will only allow rescheduling in fully documented cases of force majeure, subject to approval by General Management.

· Guests who do not show up for their reservation (NO SHOW) will not be permitted to reschedule and will not receive a refund.

· All cancellation and modification requests must be submitted in writing via email.

RELEVANT TIMINGS

· CHECK-IN: 2:00 pm

· CHECK-OUT: 11:00 am

· Reception Hours: 7:00 am – 9:00 pm

· Breakfast hours: 7:30 am to 9:30 am

· LATE CHECK-OUT: Available only with authorization based on room availability, up to 5 pm. A fee of $50,000 will be applied for each additional hour.

Please return the room key to the front desk at checkout. A fee of $50,000 will be charged for any lost or unreturned keys.

NON-SMOKING AREAS: Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms and the indoor dining area.

ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: The use or sale of illegal drugs is strictly forbidden in hotel facilities; any disruptive behavior affecting other guests may be subject to penalties.

MUSIC POLICY: Enhancing the tranquil environment of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, music is only allowed in the lobby and common areas. Guests may not bring personal speakers.

CHILDREN: All children are welcome and will incur the normal charge for an additional guest, $150,000 (for children aged 18 months and older). If minors are not accompanied by parents, a notarized authorization from parents must be presented.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE: Outside food and beverages are not allowed. For alcoholic drinks consumed in communal areas, a corkage fee will be applied (fee varies based on the type of beverage).

SWIMMING POOL: Pool hours are from 9 am to 7 pm. Adult supervision is required for minors in the pool; bringing any food or drinks into the pool area is not permitted.

PETS: Pets are welcomed at Casa Coraje during your stay under the following policy:

The pet fee is $50,000 per night, per pet. Only two medium-sized pets are permitted per room. Guests must clean up after their pets throughout the hotel premises. We recommend bringing your own pet necessities (beds, cushions, sheets, towels). Pets should not sleep on beds or utilize hotel linens.

Any pet stay fee does not cover damages caused by the pet.

INTERNET & WIFI: Complimentary WiFi is available to guests. Please note that service may not always be optimal due to the local provider’s limited capacity.

PALUNA RESTAURANT – BAR

The restaurant operates independently from Casa Coraje, making payments directly to the restaurant staff for food consumption.

ROOM SERVICE: In an effort to protect the local environment, we do not deliver food or drinks to the rooms to avoid attracting rodents and wildlife.

TOWELS: Each guest room is supplied with one set of towels for room use. Towels should remain in the room upon check-out. You may request one beach towel per person per day at reception, strictly for beach use. Lost towels incur a fee of $50,000.

SAFE: Each room is equipped with a safe, including instructions for use. There is no additional cost for this service. Guests should store valuables inside; a fee of $80,000 will be charged for damage, blockage, or loss of keys.

PARKING: The hotel offers limited parking on a first-come, first-served basis. The entry of guest motorcycles to the beach is strictly PROHIBITED unless specifically authorized by the hotel for disabled individuals to preserve the coastal area and uphold the tranquil experience Casa Coraje provides.

DRINKING WATER: Tap water is not safe for consumption; please only drink water from the thermos in your room, bottled water, or from our dispenser at Reception.

BEACH ACCESS: The Palomino Sea is currently experiencing significant coastal erosion, leading to irregular access. Entry to the beach is at the guest’s own risk and will not serve as grounds for a refund.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: The hotel provides various supplementary services through trusted third-party providers. Please inquire at Reception for details, pricing, and terms.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION: Our facilities are exclusively for registered guests. Please inform Reception of any visitor access. Extra charges may apply.

We reserve the right to restrict access to occasional visitors, with no entry permitted to rooms. Violating this rule may result in immediate departure coordination by the administrative staff.
