Starting from January 1, 2023, a tourism tax of RM 10 per room, per night will be applicable to all international visitors. This charge is not included in the room price and must be settled at check-in. Guests presenting a valid Malaysian Identity Card or a valid permanent resident MY PR Card are exempt from this fee. Additionally, since June 1, 2014, the Penang City Council has introduced a charge of MYR 2 per room, per night, payable directly to the hotel upon arrival. Please be aware that this fee is not included in the room rate.
