Nestled along the Rio Dulce river, adjacent to a 16th-century castle, the Tortugal Boutique River Lodge peninsula enjoys nearly constant offshore breezes, creating a cool and refreshing sanctuary.

This unique location, situated upstream from the village and bridge, offers the delight of clean waters perfect for swimming in the wonderfully invigorating Rio Dulce.

A well-positioned diving platform leads to a floating sun deck, carefully furnished with comfortable loungers, making it an ideal spot to observe the river’s activity.

High-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. Additionally, complimentary vehicle parking and pickups are provided from the parking lot or municipal dock. Guests can take advantage of our kayaks and enjoy free water refills. We also offer a library, homemade meals, and a friendly dog to pet.

All accommodations feature views of either the river or the jungle. Every room, apart from El Ranchito, includes a private bathroom. Selected units offer a seating area for relaxation. To ensure comfort, rooms are kept cool with overhead fans and thick native roofs.
