The 5 AA Red Star Merchant Hotel is situated in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast’s city center. It provides opulent air-conditioned accommodations, complimentary Wi-Fi, a spa, and a rooftop gym and hot tub. The Merchant was honored with the Best UK Hotel 2011 award at the International Hotel Awards.

Each of the tastefully decorated rooms features original artwork. They come equipped with blackout curtains, a flat-screen television, and spacious en suite marble bathrooms.

The Merchant is housed in a Grade I Listed building dating back to 1860. The Great Room Restaurant boasts a grand domed ceiling and serves an exquisite à la carte menu along with traditional afternoon teas.

Guests can choose from a variety of bars, including the Veuve Clicquot champagne lounge. Berts Jazz Bar offers a dining experience alongside live music every night of the week.
