Established at the base of Manchester Cathedral in 1815, the Mitre stands as one of the oldest hotels in Manchester city centre. It features a restaurant and bar, along with complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas.

Every room includes a TV and offers free tea and coffee, with the majority showcasing stunning views of Manchester Cathedral, the Corn Exchange, Selfridges, and Sinclairs Oyster Bar. Options are available for both private bathrooms and shared bathroom facilities. Please be aware that there is no lift on the premises and no rooms located on the ground floor.

We offer excellent access to CO-OP Live arena, whether by car (approximately 15 minutes) or tram (around 12 minutes). The hotel is situated in the heart of Manchester’s bustling nightlife, directly across the square from the Printworks, and is only a 4-minute walk to the Arndale Shopping Centre.

The hotel is conveniently located near Shudehill tram station, facilitating easy travel for football fans to both Old Trafford and The Etihad Stadium.
